'The Street Dweller' is a quick sketch done near Notre Dame in Paris. I was sketching a street scene when I saw her on the other side of the road with sunlight directly falling on her. Her intense gaze was something I wanted to capture. The portrait has been juried into two national shows (NOAPS, and MFA) and has won two awards (from Art Show International 2022 ,Portraits, and Montgomery Art Association's 'Paint the Town Event 2023'). It never ceases to surprise me that this street dweller always manages to capture attention!
